MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS PERSONNEL COMMITTEE HELD AT THE DISTRICT OFFICE AUGUST 15, 2017

Those present for the meeting were:

The meeting was called to order at 9:00 a.m. by Robert Sibley, Chairman of the Personnel Committee of Water Works District No. 3.  All four committee members were present.
 
Billy McKay gave the invocation.
 
Jimmy French led the Pledge of Allegiance.
 
The reading of the minutes of the Personnel Committee meeting of July 18, 2017 was dispensed with and Oscar Coody made a motion to accept the minutes.  Billy McKay seconded the motion.  Motion carried
 
Jimmy French, General Manager, reported that all taps and leaks are up to date. He gave a brief update on all ongoing jobs. 
 
Elizabeth Q. Lindsay made a motion to accept the General Manager’s report.  Oscar Coody seconded the motion.  Motion carried.
 
Keesha Halliburton, Human Resources, stated there were no issues to be covered at this time.
 
Oscar Coody made a motion to accept the Human Resources report.  Elizabeth Q. Lindsay seconded the motion.  Motion carried.

New Business: Robert Sibley, Personnel Committee Chairman, reviewed the Performance and Work Plan for Jimmy French, General Manager with the Personnel Committee.
 
Billy McKay recommended the Full Board approve the maximum pay raise for the General Manager.  Oscar Coody seconded the motion.  Motion carried.
 
There was a brief discussion and handout on employee salaries and pay.
 
There being no further business, Oscar Coody made a motion to adjourn.  Billy McKay seconded the motion.  Motion carried.  Meeting adjourned at 10:05 a.m.
